Who we are

What we collect and why
- Basic contact info: name, email, phone. Used to answer questions, send service messages, and, with your consent, send marketing.
- Order and ticket info: items purchased, dates, amounts, and payment confirmation. Used to fulfill your order and deliver your tickets. Card numbers go directly to Stripe, our payment processor, and never touch our systems.
- Ticket delivery details: the mobile number you give at checkout, used to text your tickets to your phone.
- Contest and game entries: name, contact info, and answers. Used to run the contest and notify winners.
- Job applications: contact info, work history, and any files you upload. Used to evaluate candidates.
- Device and usage data: pages visited, clicks, and general location. Used to improve the site and measure ads, and collected only as far as your cookie choices allow. See the cookie policy.
Where your data lives
Order, ticket, and signup records are stored in Airtable, our operational database. Payment records live with Stripe. Analytics data, when you consent to it, lives with the analytics providers listed below.
Legal bases and choices
- We process your data to sell and deliver tickets, run our business, and, with your consent, send marketing.
- Buying a ticket means we text it to you and may send order-related messages. Those are service messages tied to your purchase, not marketing.
- Marketing email and texts go only to people who opt in. Unsubscribe from email anytime using the link in our emails. Opt out of texts by replying STOP.
- You can ask to access or delete your data at info@hauntedtownhall.com.
Sharing
- We use trusted service providers to run the site, payments, ticketing, email, SMS, and analytics. They only use data to provide their services to us. The full list is below.
- We do not sell or sharepersonal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that ever changes, we will update this page and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share” link.
Retention
- Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
- Site analytics and ads data are kept for about 13 months.
- Transaction records are kept as required by law and accounting rules.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or download your data, and to limit certain uses. To make a request, email info@hauntedtownhall.com. We will verify your identity and respond as required by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method is 100% secure.
Children
Our site and ticketing are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
International visitors
Our services are intended for U.S. visitors. If you use our site from another region, you consent to processing in the United States.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date and post the new version here.
